Musical Palais Royal Ormolu and mother of Pearl ring stand

Antique musical Palais Royal ormolu and mother of pearl ring stand depicting a harp. A Superb piece in original condition, the attention to detail is exquisite. Resting upon for ormolu feet, the base with wonderful detail, rising up to the finely engraved mother of pearl base the classical harp sits upon. The detail in the harp is astonishing, from the detail in the ormolu to the mother of pearl strips. Perched atop the harp is a swan, and again the detail the graveur put into it depicting the feathers is superb.  Atop the harp are hooks for hanging your jewelry. The early musical movement, wound from the bottom, with a switch on the side to start plays a tune. A superb piece.
